I hEarT Bali.....

As far as I can recall I never had the urge for Bali. Although I love beach holidays, Bali was never in  my list of places to go. However, after my recent trip last week, I must say it's a happening place to go where you can choose to relax or party depending on your crowd goers... hence I will go there again.

I went with these 2 girls....

Eton & Yati...

For all the trips that I have made to Indonesia, I've always came back home like I had starved myself to death. I don't fancy their food apart from Nasi Padang and even this, after 3 days it will give me vertigo......hehehe

Back to my Bali trip....

We stayed, as i mentioned in my previous post, at Hard Rock Hotel Bali....it's in Kuta. Eton happen to have similar look of Luna Maya so we had a ball playing tricks to the men of Bali... teeheehee.....

The first day we got cheated on the car rental rate...but we were smarter afterwards. We got a way better rate and a lesser gatal driver. He was very oblige to all our request. Among us I was a first timer in Bali. Yati and Eton made sure that I get to do and went to places that they've been and like to do again, although some places was a one time visit thingy. Thanks girls!!! I appreciate it! :-)

I get to go to almost all popular areas in Bali, like Ubud, Uluwatu, Sanur and many more. We went to see the beautiful mount batur, Tanah Lot for the awesome sunset view, elevated rice paddy field, shop and shop and massage and massage and massage...I can never get enough of massage.

Of course the cream de la creme of all, was the visit to Four Season Resort in Ubud. It was breathtaking! It's good to have connection in high places. Yati fell in love with this place and have switch her wedding venue from Ayana to  here   .... although she has yet to decide who the groom might be....hehehee....

Speaking of Ayana, you must make your way here for sunset if you are ever in Bali. It's breathtaking! And when you are there, chillex at their Rock Bar..literally on huge rock! we have to take a mini lift for this.

I got the above pic from a friend... but below is snap from moi own BB camera... Check out the clarity of the water... it's just indescribable...

Next, I did the sea walking. It is to me, something new. I have not heard this in Malaysia yet. The 3 of us decided to do this although it burn a hole in our pocket. Cost us RM273.00 each!! Damn mahal occay!! I can get like twice full spa and massage...ishh..ishhh..ishhh... anyway, it was a cool thing to do, although if this was done somewhere in our east coast sea bed, it would be double whammy awesome! places like Lang Tengah, perhentian or Redang island would have made it all worthwhile.

What's sea walking?

It's where we have a guided tour of the sea bed not so far from the shore. Yes, we are walking, not snorkeling, not diving but walking. It's probably about 15feet in depth. We will take the ladder down from the boat with a huge helmet that weight 30kgs on our head! It does not feel that heavy though when you're in the water. Here' some pic of me with the helmet...

i feel like i'm one of them...hehehe

Here's the real me...We had to pay RM120 for this, 1 piece of CDR....sigh....

Ouh..we passed by Ketut's place in Ubud..I think... If you have watched Eat, Pray, Love.. you will know what i'm saying. Our driver said, Ketut use to give his service for free. But after EPL, and then the mat salleh started looking for him, he has since start charging some fees. So we abandoned our intention to konon find our SOULMATE from Ketut....

Here's 3 of us again against the beeeyootifool Gunung Berapi Batur...

And we went to a place where they made Luwak coffee. Luwak is Musang or Civet in english. Them beans comes out from its ass... would you dare to drink it? I had no appetite just thinking about it. And when i saw the bean and heard the process method from the guide, I can safely conclude that I will not drink this coffee ever....it's just eiuuwww.... Did i mentioned, that the bean is being washed twice with Sunlight?? The guide emphasized this word.."twice" twice....like it will make a different to me... hahahaha...

Ko berani???

In conclusion.... I HEART BALI and will go again someday...maybe a yearly trip who knows?? Stuffs are cheap, unlimited beautiful places, less than 3 hours flight...a perfect quick fix to De-stress holidays....what more can you ask for..... ;-)
